It's funny how some teachers become so narrow-minded, if not stupid, only because of a simple question from a student. They go overboard, sometimes they talk out of the topic. One of these teachers is our NSTP teacher, whom I do not really like since last semester.

Boy: Sir, I was wondering if we could have a new seat plan for the second semester?
Teacher: A new seat plan? *puts down attendance list* Why, do you not like your position?

Boy: It's not like that sir. I mean, just for a change.
Teacher: If you do not like your position or the seat arrangement then enroll yourself in another class. You do not accept the system here? Then enroll yourself in another school that fits your desires.
Boy: It was just a suggestion. I didn't mean it like that sir ---
Teacher: What do you mean you didn't mean it like that? If you do not like how things are done in this school you are free to leave. Nobody is forcing you to join this school. You people have no discipline whatsoever. You must understand that you must follow the rules and regulations in this school because you are a student of this school. Blah, blah blah....

One simple question led to a ten-minute intense and furious speech about discipline and rules. I don't even understand why he went berserk like that because a student asked if the seat plan could be changed. If he did not want to reshuffle the students' positions he could have simply said a big NO and continue with the roll call. Is it just me overreacting or does his mind work differently than most minds? *sigh*

Finally I got a break from that 7:30 schedule. I'm getting weary. My friends and I signed up again for the free Korean lessons at school! Hopefully I'm gonna improve more this time, and I really hope my previous teacher would still be around. I miss EunMi unni. :(

Anyway, I managed to survive the first oral presentation yesterday during speech class. I don't want to sound mean but I was relieved that at least I did a little better than some. All I lack is confidence. Confidence, confidence. Come to meeeee.

I want to talk about something worth talking about, but I'm too engrossed with Korean stuff right now. As always. Sigh. I wonder what would have happened to me if I was never introduced to this type of music? Maybe I'll be drooling over that Justin Bieber guy. .... Dunno what's so special about him, but ew, no. (Maybe I'll make a post about this one.)

P.S. I "finished" my first digital painting and my fifth finished vector -- and man what the freaking hell it was freaking hard and I gave up painting the background. HAHA. Well here they are.

We watched The Exorcist at Katz's house yesterday after school. MAN. I want to reenact the scenes. I can't help but laugh a bit -- especially when Regan descended the stairs with her tummy side up. Lol. Never mind.

I don't like Speech class. When I saw the big mirror at the back of the room, I was fascinated. When I saw the microphone at the front, my face fell. I hate microphones. No, wait. The mic hates me. Ugh. I don't like it. Two-person improvisation? No written exams? (well, it IS a speech class lol.) This will be a nightmaaaaaare.

No classes today, since it's Negros Day! That's it for the good news though. My father's not exactly in good condition today. He went to the doctor to get his right hand checked, because it had swollen. My dad has this, uh, infection in his dirty finger (literally) that keeps coming back after several months. My mom advised him to have a checkup, because the finger swelled again, but he said it was fine and it didn't hurt. Yesterday his whole hand began to swell slightly, but he still didn't go to the doctor. And when he woke up this morning, the swell had reached up to his elbow. Now he's taking antibiotics. Poor dad. I hope his hand's gonna go back to normal pretty soon. :(
